Halloween Scrapbook

While Halloween is still fresh on your mind… Instead of eating all of your kids candy, why not make a Halloween Scrapbook?

I do this with all my Christmas cards, too. I love getting it out each year and comparing the old photo cards to the new photocards! So this year I thought, why not do this for Halloween too???

For this project, I printed out the color cover from a paper cut I made into a printable and put it on the cover. I used our ‘Family Portraits’ from Ooh Moon, again, for the front page. Then printed pictures from each year, secured them in and…. Wahla!

Max from Where the Wild Things Are

I’m old school when it comes to scrapbooking. (and behind, but that’s another story!) Mine are so old fashioned. Just black paper, black corners and white or silver pens. I’m amazed at so many people’s elaborate scarpbooks! They are beuatiful! But mine are simple.

The fun thing about this is that you don’t have to sort through all your pictures, or all your scrapbooks to find Halloween for each year. Just pack this away with your decorations and pull it our each year. All your Halloween memories in one place!

My son already loves looking through and saying, ‘That’s me, and that’s me and that’s me…..’ The beauty of an only child! Ha!

  1. Where did you find the scrapbook used for your Halloween pictures and what size is it?

    • I have no idea where I got it!! I got it years ago! I really liked it, so I bought about 7 or 8 of them. I want to say I might have gotten them on sale at Paper Zone, which is no longer in business. Sorry I can’t be more help with that. And as for size, I believe it’s about 8×14 inches. Honestly, they are all packed up right now with the Halloween and Christmas decorations, so I’m not exactly sure. But it’s about that size. I’m sure you could find something similar at Joann’s, Michaels or Aaron Brothers.
