My lovely friend Monica, the owner of West Seattle Fabrics, has once again agreed to give away some fabulousness from her shop! Well, it’s true again this year! She’s giving away a package of 5 coordinating fat quarters. And guess what?? I’m so excited that I get one too! I’m working with Monica on a special project for her shop and blog using this amazing collection picked by yours truly!! I can’t wait! You’ll have to keep in touch to see what we come up with!!
This year I was on vacation when I realized it’s Giveaway Day, so we picked them online. I had just been chatting with friends about the lightening bugs. We don’t have them this far south in ‘Bama, but I always loved going to my grandmother’s house and catching lightening bugs! Then I was going through high school pictures and found a picture of my high school boyfriend coming out of my grandmother’s cellar. I couldn’t figure what he had been doing down there! I realized he was getting a jar to catch the lightening bugs in! Sooooooo…. When I saw the line with lightening bugs, I knew that was the one! And I had to throw in a couple of others to coordinate.
This giveaway is a fat quarter bundle of five different fabrics!

Ooh. They have a fabric called oh man. It’s white with area shells, star fish, etc. Gorgeous. I think a sundress with that as the bodice and one of the darker blues for the skirt would be so o pretty for summer on a little girl!
