I have a new pattern out there! And until Halloween, it’s free!
Does the pillow look familiar? It should! I just posted about it with the awesome pillow cube giveaway the other day! But today it’s about the pillow cover and the ghost block!
Last year, I made the Bat pillows with the Bat Pattern that you can purchase here. This year I felt that we needed another one! But not another bat…. And despite the fact that tonight my husband couldn’t get comfortable on the couch because of all the pillows…Oops…. Oh, well, I did it anyway! I made a ghost to go with the bats!
Earlier this year, I saw this glow in the dark star fabric and I knew I needed it. Need is key here, right? Then came the idea of the ghost. And of course, it needs to in glow in the dark fabric too! A solid glow in the dark would have been best, but I couldn’t find it.
The pattern is a pretty quick sew! The head is a bunch of little pieces and can be a little bit slower, but once you get that done, you’re home free! Easy!
The block is 6.6×8.5. I then added a bit more stars and the banding. The pattern does not include paper piecing instructions, but you can find the directions here. This could be an easy intro for the newbie to paper piecing!
The pattern can be found in my etsy shop! So be sure to swing by and check out the shop and get your ghost pattern!
